Recruitment Specialist helps with the administration of the day-to-day operations of a company's human resource department. He/She helps with the implementation of services, policies, and programs aimed at maintaining a safe, positive environment in a company, as well as the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The HR Specialist reports to the HR and Recruitment Head and also assists company managers with HR issues.
- Prepares Job Offers, Employment Contracts, and onboarding Forms for newly hired employees.
- Facilitate onboarding orientation and endorse the newly hired employees to the Training team
- Assist in company-sponsored activities such as summer outings, year-end parties, town hall meetings, etc.
- Encodes any changes and updates on the Employee Masterfile.
- Ensures complete and updated records of employees including 201 files
- Prepares and routes clearances for all employee movements including regularization, promotions and terminations
- Prepares all certifications as requested by employees
- Checks and runs employee hours with the Administrative Assistant and Real-Time Data Specialist for payroll processing
- Facilitate company-initiated benefits claims
- Responsible for timely posting of reminders for payroll cut-offs
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters
- Issue Incident Reports to affected employees
- Facilitate and participate in Employee Relations Talk with affected supervisors and employees
- Prepare Minutes of Meetings for Employee Relations Talks
- Issue Decision Notices to employees with infractions
- Assists end-to-end recruitment process
- Processes and monitors received Manpower Requests. Conducts sourcing, job posting, pre-screening, and scheduling of interviews of applicants.
- Conducts initial interviews and facilitates endorsement of applicants to the next panel of final interviewers.
- Requests background investigation for considered applicants to a third-party background check provider.
- Performs other tasks as may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years of experience in the HR and Recruitment Department.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field.
- Excellent English communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to effectively identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Proficiency in analyzing recruitment data, tracking key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire), and using insights to optimize recruitment strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
- Proficiency in screening resumes, evaluating qualifications, and conducting initial candidate assessments to ensure alignment with job requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills concerning job offers, salary packages, and diverse terms with candidates in achieving mutually beneficial agreements.
- A good understanding of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process. This includes knowledge of equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws, anti-discrimination laws, and other relevant regulations.
