Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3–5+ years in UI/UX or Product Design with a strong, shipped portfolio (web and/or mobile).
  • Proficiency in Figma (Auto-layout, prototyping, component variants); familiarity with FigJam or similar.
  • Solid grasp of user-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience creating/maintaining design systems and working with component libraries.
  • Ability to run lightweight research: user interviews, usability tests, surveys, heuristic reviews.
  • Comfortable handing off to engineers (specs, tokens, assets) and collaborating in agile environments.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and platform guidelines (iOS/Material).
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
 

Nice-to-Have

  • Advance front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS, understanding of React component patterns/design tokens).
  • Experience with analytics/experimentation tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Hotjar, Optimizely).
  • Motion/interaction design skills (micro-interactions, Lottie/prototype transitions).
  • Experience in B2B/SaaS dashboards or e-commerce flows.
  • Illustration or iconography skills; ability to create lightweight brand assets.
  • Familiarity with localization/internationalization and right-to-left layouts.

Primary Task
 

  • Translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive experiences.
  • Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile (component-driven, scalable UI systems).
  • Create and maintain a design system (colors, typography, spacing, icons, components, interaction states).
  • Run user research and usability testing; synthesize insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Collaborate with PMs and engineers from discovery to delivery; provide redlines and interaction specs.
  • Iterate quickly based on data (analytics, heatmaps, experiment results) and stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance-friendly design choices.
  • Prepare developer-ready assets and document design decisions.
  • Advocate for the user and uphold design quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Keep current with UI trends, design tools, and best practices.
